The average price in the Lapu-lapu City region has had a slight decrease in recent months. There has been a deflation in the prices in this region.
The price per m² in Lapu-lapu City has risen in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per m² was ₱ 166,914. The following month (November) the price increased to ₱ 177,377 per m². The following two months (December, January) there has been a deflation of 95 % in the price per m² with regard to the previous two. In the last two months, the price per m² has had a significant decrease of 68 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of ₱ 167,472 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of ₱ 114,012.5 per m² for the last two months (February, March).

During November it went through a strong inflation reaching ₱ 22,359,377 In the following two months the average price didn't change much compared to the previous two going from ₱ 19,971,652 to ₱ 19,888,944. During the last two months the price has had a considerable reduction of 63 % with respect to the previous four months going from ₱ 19,930,298 a ₱ 12,494,796.
