The average price in the General Santos City region has had an strong increase in recent months. There has been a strong inflation in the prices in this region.
The price per m² in General Santos City has increased strongly in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per m² was ₱ 46,915. In November the price pretty much stayed the same at ₱ 45,497 per m². In the following two months (December, January) the price per m² has risen strongly to a 133 %. In the last two months, the price per m² has had a significant increase of 137 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of ₱ 53,814.25 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of ₱ 73,781 per m² for the last two months (February, March).

In November the price was the same at ₱ 5,913,305. The price in the following months (December, January) had a strong increment of 315 % going from ₱ 5,823,431.5 to ₱ 18,355,708. During the last two months the price has risen 115 % compared to the previous average values going from ₱ 12,089,570 a ₱ 13,890,112 in February and March.
