The average price in the Dumaguete City region has had a slight decrease in recent months. There has been a deflation in the prices in this region.
The price per m² in Dumaguete City has risen in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per m² was ₱ 53,713. In November the price pretty much stayed the same at ₱ 51,179 per m². The following two months (December, January) there has been a deflation of 90 % in the price per m² with regard to the previous two. In the last two months, the price per m² has decreased 94 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price ₱ 49,822.25 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price ₱ 46,845.5 per m² for the last two months (February, March).

During November the price had a slight deflation till ₱ 7,982,977. The average price for the following two months (December, January) increased from ₱ 8,469,200 to ₱ 9,666,626. During the last two months the price has had a considerable increase of 126 % with respect to the previous four months going from ₱ 9,067,913 a ₱ 11,399,916.
