The average rent price in the Negros Occidental region has had a strong fall in recent months. There has been a strong fall in the rent prices in this region.
The price per m² in Negros Occidental has fallen considerably in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per m² was ₱ 309. The following month (November) the price had a considerable fall reaching ₱ 216 per m². The following two months (December, January) went through a fall of 86 % in the rent price per m² with regard to the previous two. In the last two months, the price per m² has had a significant fall of 85 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of ₱ 244.5 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of ₱ 207 per m² for the last two months (February, March).
When referring to the price in Negros Occidental(region), this has risen considerably in the last 6 months. In the first month sample for October the average price is ₱ 15,418. During November it went through a strong rise reaching ₱ 54,062 The price in the following months (December, January) had a strong rise of 217 % going from ₱ 34,740 to ₱ 75,544.5. During the last two months the price has had a considerable rise of 168 % with respect to the previous four months going from ₱ 55,142.25 a ₱ 92,694.5.
The graph displaying the the average rent price per number of bedrooms shows that those with 1 bedroom are the most affordable ones. They are 90 % cheaper than the average price in Negros Occidental followed by those with 2 with an average price of ₱ 13,290. The most affordable properties have 3 bedrooms. They are 78 % cheaper than the average followed by those properties with 4 bedrooms priced at ₱ 16,517.
Based on the average price per m² those properties with 3 bedrooms are the most affordable ones with a price of ₱ 124 / m² being ₱ 190 / m² the average for Negros Occidental. The properties with the highest average price are those with 1 bedroom. These are 56 % more expensive than the average followed by those with 4 bedrooms with a price of ₱ 257 / m².

With an average cost of ₱ 98,776 it is 91 % cheaper than the average in Negros Occidental. This is followed by "House" with a cost of ₱ 16,517. The most affordable property type is "Townhouse" and is 63 % cheaper than the average, followed by "Condominium" with a cost of ₱ 25,616.
Based upon the average cost per m² the most affordable property type is "Commercial Lot with a an average price of ₱ 136 / m², followed by "Lot" with a price of ₱ 163 / m². "Condominium" with an average price of ₱ 625 / m² is the most expensive type of property followed by "Townhouse" at a price of ₱ 286 / m².
