The average rent price in the Dumaguete City region has had an strong rise in recent months. There has been a strong rise in the rent prices in this region.
The price per m² in Dumaguete City has risen considerably in the last 6 months. During September, the average price per m² was ₱ 287.54. The following month (October) the price had a considerable rise reaching ₱ 367.24 per m². In the following two months (November, December) the rent price per m² has increased notably to a 170 %. In the last two months, the price per m² has had a significant rise of 128 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of ₱ 442.25 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of ₱ 565.59 per m² for the last two months (January, February).
When referring to the price in Dumaguete City(region), this has fallen considerably in the last 6 months. September has an average price of ₱ 134,920. During Octoberthe price had a strong fall till ₱ 31,250. The price in the following months (November, December) had a strong rise of 138 % going from ₱ 83,085 to ₱ 114,773.5. During the last two months the price has had a considerable fall of 50 % with respect to the previous four months going from ₱ 98,929.25 a ₱ 49,791.5.
